As 2023 draws to a close we decided to have a look at some of the highlights of our year.
A major highlight for us has been our Mini Medic courses. We have had great feedback from parents and students alike. For most of the candidates this is their first introduction to first aid training and these fun and interactive courses aim to cement the importance of good first aid knowledge from an early age, as well as providing practical skills which may help save a life.
A big thankyou to Gilly Fraser who gave our Canonbie course a great write up in the Eskdale and Liddesdale Advertiser.
Kath, a parent of one of the children on our course left the following feedback.
“Sean was warm and welcoming when we arrived. My daughter struggles to concentrate at school so I was a bit worried but she took in everything Sean taught her. She was so excited with her new skills and desperate to show all the things she had learned. She got a wonderful first aid book which is very child friendly and a certificate to be proud of. I have learned a great deal from her! I would advise anyone with children to give it a go. Thank you Sean 🙏”
We have completed multiple training courses as well as our own continuous personal development, including Outdoor First Aid and Catastrophic Bleed training. This allows us to offer regulated Forestry First Aid (+F) courses, Emergency Outdoor First Aid and Outdoor First Aid courses, as well as stand alone Catastrophic Bleed courses, all of which enable us to better serve our customers in 2024.
We look forward to providing our clients with the best quality training and support for their business needs both in First Aid and Health and Safety training in the new year.
Sean was friendly and approachable. Helped me get to the centre as I was struggling to navigate around Carlisle.
Very informative course left me feeling confident like I know what I’m doing if I find myself in any of the scenarios covered. Thanks so much.
Tess
